About
19+ Years of Making Technology Decisions That Matter.
I work with founders, CTOs, and engineering leaders who are making consequential technology investments — and need a clear-eyed perspective from someone who has made those decisions at scale.

Background
Over 19 years, I have led technology strategy and engineering at organizations ranging from early-stage startups to global enterprises. My work has spanned AI and machine learning platforms, large-scale data infrastructure, cloud transformation programs, and the organizational design required to make technology investments actually deliver.
I have been the person in the room when the decision was made to invest in a platform that didn't exist yet. I have also been the person called in when that investment stalled — and tasked with figuring out why, and what to do next. That experience on both sides of the table is what I bring to advisory work.
My approach is direct. I am not here to validate decisions that have already been made, or to produce reports that confirm what the leadership team already believes. I am here to surface the real problem — which is often not the problem that was originally described — and to help you make a better decision with the information you actually have.
Leadership Philosophy
Technology is a means to a business outcome. Nothing more.
Clarity before investment
The most expensive mistake in technology is solving the wrong problem with precision. Every engagement starts with a rigorous definition of the actual problem.
Honest assessment over comfortable consensus
Organizations that make good technology decisions have leaders who can hear difficult truths. I work best with people who want that.
Outcomes, not outputs
A delivered project that doesn't change a business outcome is a failure. Every recommendation I make is anchored to a measurable business result.
Speed through clarity
The fastest path to a good decision is a clear understanding of the problem. Ambiguity is the primary cause of slow, expensive technology programs.
